Hot Springs WWTP (Arkansas - USA)

Outstanding projects

Hot Springs utilizes two water treatment plants in serving more than 31,000 customers. These two plants are capable of producing a maximum of 27.5 million gallons of potable water per day. The water source for these plants includes the following lakes: Hamilton, Ouachita, Sanderson, Ricks and Dillon. The Hot Springs Wastewater Treatment facility collects, treats and transports wastewater for more than 23,000 customers. Hot Springs Utilities serves not only the citizens of Hot Springs but also to large unincorporated areas of Garland County. A network of approximately 600 miles of wastewater lines collects sewage from service areas in the city and county. Because of the nature of lake terrain, more than 120 pump stations and 4500 grinder pumps transport the sewage to the wastewater treatment plant, where it is treated and then discharged into Lake Catherine.
